Reading #7 - Anthropocene and Biomorphic Design

 

  • We need to stop discussing theories or searching for the ones at fault for climate change and instead act on the problem to disclose it. 
  • The ecological approach in architecture may not be part of the art in architecture, but the realism (architecture) and unfamiliar-realism (ecological approaches) can co-exist 
  • Architecture is no longer art, it is a technological system that responds to climate change. “Architecture as technology”
  • The choice of materials has a lot to do with the amount of sustainability a building has. The more simplified the material, the better.
