The diagram shows that massings can be taken advantage of by using simulations. These simulations vary from wind to solar to daylight analysis.


Parametricism

The diagram shows that massings are taken into control using parametric software such as Grasshopper. One set of rules or inputs can drastically change the outcome of the massing.


Sustainability

Different design decisions may change the sustainable aspect of a building. The Louis Vuitton Foundation building, it consists of large glass panels formed in a unique shape. These glass panels almost act as a second facade whilst there is a massing underneath this blob-like structure.
